Android Developer
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Android Developer to join our mobile development team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Java and Kotlin
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance for new and existing Android apps
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Ensure UI/UX designs are implemented accurately and effectively
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Publish apps to the Google Play Store and manage app releases
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of released applications
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries and APIs
- Understanding of Android UI/UX principles and design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP)
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Good knowledge of the mobile development life cycle
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
